Adjust Console timeout
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If no activity is detected on the System Console for a set period of time, the console
automatically logs out the current user. This is separate from the
:ref:`GUI timeout<gui_settings>`, which only affects the Web GUI.

    Console Timeout

    You can change the timeout for the StoredSafe Console.

    Currently set to - 3600 seconds.

    If no activity is detected in the console for the set time, the console will
    automatically log out the user.

    Set to 0 to disable the timeout.

    Valid range is up to 28800 seconds (8 hours).

    Timeout in seconds (Q to Quit)? <3600>: 1800

    Timeout set to 1800 seconds.

.. note:: The console accepts values from 5 to 28800 seconds. If you want a very long
   (effectively disabled) timeout, use a high value such as 28800 rather than 0.
