Database Maintenance
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Used to perform database maintenance, such as

-  Check consistency of the database
-  Try to repair inconsistencies in the database

.. warning:: Only to be used upon direction from StoredSafe staff.

If the StoredSafe appliance has suffered an unexpected power outage, it
might be necessary to repair the database tables. The :ref:`perform_a_database_check`
will check the tables and inform if a :ref:`perform_a_database_repair` is needed.
