Recover Disk Space

User, vaults and objects are not actually deleted in StoredSafe, they are simply de-activated, hence it is possible to recover deleted objects and vaults and re-activate users.

If disk space is scarce, it’s possible to selectivly permanently remove de-activated/deleted files to recover disk space.

Permanently Remove Deleted Files

To actually reclaim disk space occupied by de-activated (deleted) files, you need to permanently remove deleted files.

Note

It’s possible to do a dry-run, to see what de-activaed /deleteted files will be affected and how much disk space that can be recovered, before actually removing the files.
