Password policy for user login passphrases
Password policy for user login passphrases determines which of the systems password policies should be enabled for users login password. This requirement will not be enforced, but users with a passphrase not conforming to the password policy for login passwords, will be informed at the next login and as well be logged to the audit log.
Password Policy for Passphrases
The selected policy will be used in informative mode. The user will
receive a warning at logon and policy violation will be marked in the audit log.
If a policy is in use, it will be marked as "Active" below.
2: Normal Quality Password (10+ chars, mixed case and number)
3: Medium Quality Password (9+ chars, mixed case and number)
4: Active Weak Quality Password (8+ chars, mixed case and number)
5: PCI-DSS v2.0-like (7+ chars, mixed case and number)
6: HITRUST-like (8+ chars, mixed case and number)
7: High Quality Password (14+ chars, mixed case, number and special)
8: Good Quality Password (12+ chars, mixed case, number and special))
9: High Quality Passphrase (20+ chars, mixed case, numbers and special)
10: Good Quality Passphrase (15+ chars, mixed case, number and special)
11: 4-digit PIN codes (4+ numeric)
12: 4-character PIN codes (4+ chars)
13: Stanford-like (20+ chars and no restrictions)
14: Stanford-like (16+ chars and mixed case)
15: Stanford-like (12+ chars, mixed case and number)
