SMTP Settings

The PubSub subsystem in StoredSafe can use SMTP to send out publications, if enabled a local Postfix server is configured to make it possible to enable reliable queing of mails that fails delivery initially.

The StoredSafe internal Postfix requires an external SMTP relay, a so called “smart host”, which will be responsible for transporting the mail to it’s destination.

This relay needs to be reachable on the specified port and support SMTP from the StoredSafe instance.

StoredSafes PubSub system can use an external SMTP server as smart relay.
